HHRD provides free health services to Indonesia earthquake survivors

After two devastating earthquakes in Indonesia, Helping Hand and its partner, PKPU, immediately began assessments and relief activities. Helping Hand for Relief and Development-USA in partnership with ICNA Relief Canada continues to provide Free Health Services in 12 different areas of West Sumatra. So far 2190 persons have benefited from the project. Each day, approximately 400 patients visit the Medical Camps. On October 12, 2009, Mr.Irfan Khurshid, Director international program, Helping Hand visited the free medical camps established in West Sumatra.

Indonesian earthquake victims are in great need of Medical Aid for survival.
Funds needed to support the victims with required health services.
