flood appeal raised to $10 million...

Assalaamu Alaikum,

Over the past month and half we have been collecting items like rice, sugar, lentils, baby formula, blankets, jackets, diapers, over the counter medical supplies and clean drinking water, across the US, for the flood victims who have lost everything.

We want to thank all the volunteers and donors who came out and contributed basic necessities that are needed for the victims of the Pakistan Floods. So far:

10 non-medical containers have been sent.

2 medical containers have been sent to Pakistan for immediate medical help in the HHRD Medical camps that have been running daily to provide the much needed medical help for flood relief. Malaria, skin infections and diarrhea are becoming common. See HHRD medical Statistics at www.reliefforpakistan.org

3 more containers are scheduled to go to Pakistan this week insha’Allah.

$2.1 million worth of In-Kind donations will be sent to Pakistan by the end of this week from HHRD.

We are still collecting In-Kind donations. Please contact your local HHRD office listed on www.hhrd.org or you can call 1-888-808-4357 to find the nearest collection center.
