Helping Hand for Relief and Development is REPORTING BACK! Please tune in on October 31st, 2010 between 3pm – 7pm.
This LIVE 4 Hour Telethon will be aired on HUM TV and Express News Channel. It will be simultaneously broadcasted on our website at www.hhrd.org.
Our flood Relief activities are still underway; mainly because the need is immense. The field hospitals set up by HHRD are still seeing increasing amount of patients with persisting diseases like skin infection, diarrhea, malaria, and urinary tract infections.
HHRD is launching an Adopt a Village project for the victims of the flood relief. There are millions still homeless. Project details will be mentioned in the broadcast on Sunday.
This year millions have lost their cattle and animals. They will not be able to perform Zabiha for their family. Please make an additional Qurbani/Zabiha for the victims for the flood. Share Joy. Share Eid – Global Zabiha Program. HHRD is helping to perform Zabiha in over 50 countries this year and will benefit over half million needy around the world.
United Against Hunger – Standing Up For Justice
Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) has launched a month long campaign to raise awareness about hunger in the United States. More information is available at icna.org/hunger.
