Medical Professionals Needed on the Border of Libya-Tunisia
Assalaamu Alaykum WaRahmatullahi WaBarakatahu,
The humanitarian crisis of massive proportions is increasing in terms of hundreds of wounded refugees coming out daily from Libya into neighboring Tunisia. Helping Hand (USA) for Relief & Development has begun erecting a tent hospital at this border, in collaboration with the Windsor Cardiac Center, and Attaaouen, a Tunisian and UNO registered NGO.
Emergency relief will be provided to these individuals immediately; however by June 06th, 2011, a more concrete system along with procedures and necessary logistical support will be in place. This will make it possible to begin accepting volunteer doctors and medical staff to work alongside HHRD in the region.
HHRD requests all those in the medical profession who are able to volunteer five to fifteen days to contact our Medical Teams Coordinator Br. Ilyas Choudry after June 7th, 2011. He can be reached at 1-832-275-0786 or ILyas.Choudry@HelpingHandOnline.Org
