Skills Development Centers

Assalaamu Alaykum WaRahmatullahi WaBaraktahu,

The catastrophic floods, earthquakes, tsunamis and wars of this past decade have not only altered landscapes but also family structures. Children have become orphaned, spouses have lost one another, and mothers have become childless due to such circumstances. In hopes of rising above such sadness and devastation Helping Hand for Relief and Development has provided these victims with outlets towards ensuring a better future.

HHRD’s "Skills Development Centers" are setup to provide men, women and children with the opportunity of specializing in a skill, which can be utilized towards ensuring livelihood and prosperity. Centers such as this have been set up in close to 20 locations across Pakistan where a vast array of week and month long courses are been offered from auto mechanics to electricians, and tailoring to baking. With classes specializing in the fine arts and those in social skills, HHRD has ensured the interest and talents of a wide range of individuals is being met.

HHRD hopes to provide these skills in order to lower the poverty level in countries such as Pakistan as it equips its citizens with the necessary skills to be part of the country’s workforce. We encourage our generous donors to take part in this noble cause and help reduce the struggles of these families and individuals.

  1. How can conservatives say their leadership is better if they refuse any objective means of measure?
