Increasing Number... Floods in Pakistan

Assalaam alykum,

5.5 million Pakistanis affected and 233 people have died due to severe rains and flooding. Thousands of survivors are going hungry with their homes and livelihood destroyed. The city of Karachi has also been swamped. There is great threat of water borne diseases.

Last year more than 2,000 people died and left 11 million people homeless. Let’s not wait for historic numbers before we come forward to help them.

Helping Hand for Relief and Development is on the ground, with base camp in Hyderabad Sindh, and with our emergency response teams working in Tando Allahyar, Mirpurkhas, Tando Muhammad Khan, Banazirabad, Thatta, Badin and Kohistan (KPK).
