According to UN Reports, about 884 million people across the world lack access to safe water supplies. This means about one in eight people around the world are deprived of clean water to drink from.

According to another UN Report, a child dies from a water related disease every 20 seconds.

Investing in safe drinking water/sanitation contributes to the economic growth and stability.

Helping Hand for Relief and Development is taking the initiative to hold a conference on July 28th, 29th 2010 in Islamabad Pakistan - Clean Drinking Water for all.

Please help us provide those deprived of the most basic necessity of life; clean drinking water. Helping Hand for Relief and Development would like to ensure that today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders have the skills and initiative to help those in need, such as what Helping Hand is doing today. Without the necessary skills and experience, today’s youth would not be able to take on the problems of tomorrow. HHRD offers a Summer Internship Program; a hands-on program provides individuals with a unique opportunity to gain beneficial leadership skills and professional experience.

This successful program would be nowhere without your support and donation.
